A little bit about myself...

Growing up, my bedroom was always a mess, the only area in our home my mother would not show our guest. When a spare bedroom became available to me, I did not move in but used it as a sanctuary instead. I would go in there and rearrange my writing paper and pens on the desk and make it just perfect and pretty. I loved going in there to just chill. I didn't know it a the time, but my brain was craving simplicity and order.

As a young adult, I travelled the world for a few years, my only possessions fitting in a backpack; that was easy enough to manage.

However, once I became a mother, things started to accumulate, and so did the chaos. It was overwhelming to live in a mess and exhausting to be looking for things all the time. Such was life for many years until enough was enough. I started downsizing, not only my possessions but also my activities.

Slowly, I was bringing back the order and simplicity my childhood brain was craving and restoring peace in my heart. The seed that was planted in my childhood started growing in my adulthood and eventually became a new career.

My love of organizing grew to where I wanted to offer that order and simplicity to all who were in need of it. Through the Professional Organizer of Canada, I was able to become a trained professional organizer in 2022. I loved working with my clients and began to notice that some really struggled with not only disorganization, but also with being okay to let go of things they knew they no longer needed. To better helped them, I pursued further education with the institute for Challenging  Disorganization, where I earned my level 2 Chronic Disorganization Specialist certificate, level 2 Time Management and Productivity Specialist certificate as well as the Aging Specialist certificate . The training also introduces me to conditions such as ADHD, brain trauma, and depression, and how those conditions affect organizational skills. This resonated so much with me and I now specialize in those areas.

Dear to my heart are seniors, neurodivergent humans, and those that struggle with chronic disorganization due to those conditions listed above.

Because I am a creative person, thinking outside the box, and a caregiver by nature, I am dedicated to providing the best service I can to meet my clients where they are at in their struggles.
